The randomness in a ScirDom draw comes from a certified entropy block, generated and rigorously tested before it is ever used. This page is the public record of the current block: its identity, the cryptographic values, test methodologies and the full test results.

This block was generated and certified by Eormen under a separate internal generation process before being released for draw use. Eormen publishes these identification values and test results so that the randomness powering any draw can be independently checked.

These values uniquely identify this block. The data-only hash covers the 1,073,741,824 bytes entropy payload and is the value referenced in every draw evidence pack. The complete-file hash covers the delivered file including the 64-byte trailer. The Eormen block identifier appears in all three validation reports, confirming they all refer to the same block.

GPG signatures

All files in Eormen’s public validation package carry detached signatures. The validation-package public key and a concise checking checklist are published below on this page.

EORM-2026-0004 Validation Results

Eormen publishes the results of three test suites run on each block before it is delivered. Two are established external standards; the third is Eormen’s own full-block suite which examines every byte.

Dieharder Statistical Tests

Duke University Physics Department · Version 3.31.1

17 of 17 passed

The Dieharder suite applies a battery of statistical tests to the raw entropy stream, including birthday spacings, overlapping permutations, binary rank, bitstream analysis, and other well-established measures of randomness. It was developed by physicists at Duke University and is widely used in cryptography and scientific research.

NIST SP800-22 Randomness Tests

US National Institute of Standards and Technology · 100% confidence

15 of 15 passed

The NIST SP800-22 suite is the US government’s official standard for evaluating whether data is truly random. It examines frequency distribution, run patterns, spectral properties, template matching, compression resistance, and other statistical characteristics. Each test must pass at 99% confidence.

Failed results: 0

Eormen Full-Block Validation

Eormen Validation Suite v6.1.0 · Every byte processed

All 8 categories passed

The Dieharder and NIST suites test a statistical sample of the block. Eormen’s own suite is different: it examines every single byte of the full 1 GiB with no sampling at all. It covers eight categories: frequency distribution, entropy measurement, correlation analysis, spectral analysis, pattern analysis, compression resistance, matrix rank, and chunk uniqueness. Only blocks that pass all eight are delivered.

EORM-2026-0004 Validation Files Package

Eormen delivers a public validation package with every certified entropy block. The download for EORM-2026-0004 opens into a root folder named after the block and contains the following structure:

  • Package rootEORM-2026-0004.bin.sig and public-key.asc. The certified entropy block itself is not distributed in the public validation package.
  • readmeREADME.txt and README.txt.sig. This is Eormen’s block data sheet and certificate of validation.
  • checksumschecksums.sha256 and checksums.sha256.sig. Use these to confirm that the published artefacts are unmodified.
  • dieharder-resultsdieharder_results_EORM-2026-0004.json and its detached signature.

Check a validation-package signature

Choose the published validation-package file, upload the matching detached .sig file from the package, and ScirDom will check it against the authoritative current-block file and the published validation-package public key. This is limited to validation-package signatures only.
