Documentation

This page explains what we publish, what is disclosed after each draw completes, and how a result can be checked without relying on our word alone.

Protocol summary

When you run a draw with us, you receive a formal certificate and an evidence pack showing exactly how the result was produced. These are yours to share with participants, auditors, or regulators. You do not have to rely on our word that the draw was fair, because the materials to check it independently are included.

The randomness behind every draw comes from an entropy block generated and certified by Eormen, then tested by three independent statistical suites before any draw uses it. The selection method is published in full as the Algorithm Specification Document and ensures that every possible combination of winners is equally likely. Every draw produces a certificate recording the portion of the randomness used, the submitted participant register, the locked execution-order register, the algorithm version, and the result.

The randomness used for your draw is fixed in sequence before the draw runs, so the outcome cannot be influenced once your participant register is locked. Independent verification relies on the evidence pack, the locked participant register, and the published Algorithm Specification Document rather than any public draw-chain service.

Verification model

What you can review before you run a draw

We publish the active entropy block identity, its validation results and verification values, and the current Algorithm Specification Document. This lets you review both the randomness source and the fixed published selection method before you run a draw.

What you receive when your draw completes

Each completed draw is accompanied by an evidence pack containing the certificate, the submitted participant register, the locked execution-order register, a human-readable participant register PDF, a copy of the exact bytes taken from the entropy block for that draw, the signed manifest, and the supporting files needed to confirm the result.

Billing region and currency

Your account has a billing region that controls the currency used for draw payments and ScirDom receipts. New accounts use United Kingdom · GBP by default. If your organisation should pay in another supported currency, change the account currency from the header selector or from your account profile before opening checkout.

The billing region selected at the time of payment is stored on the payment record and receipt. Changing your account currency later does not rewrite previous receipts or completed payment records.

Frequently asked questions

Glossary

ASD (Algorithm Specification Document)

The published document defining the exact method we use to select winners. It is versioned so that any draw can be tied to the specific algorithm version used.

Block (Entropy Block)

A 1 GiB file of verified random data generated and certified by Eormen. Each block is tested by three independent test suites before activation. Blocks are identified by a unique ID (e.g. EORM-2026-0003).

Certificate and Manifest

The evidence pack contains a human-readable certificate (certificate.pdf), a machine-readable manifest (manifest.json), the submitted and locked participant registers, and a participant register PDF showing participant IDs beside visible names. Together they record the participant-register hashes, the disclosed entropy portion, the algorithm version, and the certified winner selection sequence.

Rejection Sampling

A technique used within the selection algorithm to convert random bytes into a number within a specific range without introducing any bias. It ensures every participant has exactly equal probability of selection.

Evidence Pack

The set of files issued after a draw completes, containing the exact bytes taken from the entropy block for that draw, the certificate, the signed manifest, and the supporting files required to confirm the result independently. The promoter receives the evidence pack and decides who to share it with.
