Evidence packs

Auditable prize draw evidence packs

An evidence pack turns a draw result into a record that can be reviewed after the event.

ScirDom evidence packs are built to show how the result was produced, not merely who won.

SCIRDOM EVIDENCE LAYER

  • Tested randomness before the draw
  • Participant register locked before execution
  • Published winner-selection algorithm
  • Signed certificate and evidence pack
  • Verification material for independent checking

ANSWER

What is in a ScirDom evidence pack?

A ScirDom evidence pack may include the certificate, manifest, entropy reference or portion, algorithm reference, submitted participant register, locked participant register, checksums, and verification instructions.

ANSWER

Why keep the locked register?

The locked register is needed to verify that the winner was selected from the final participant list. Removing it may prevent independent replay.

ANSWER

Who can download an evidence pack?

Evidence pack downloads are owner-authenticated. The client decides whether and how to share the pack with participants, auditors, advisers, regulators, or the public.

Core evidence-pack components

  • Certificate: a formal record of the result and key draw details.
  • Manifest: a signed integrity record for the evidence files.
  • Participant registers: submitted and locked records used for verification.
  • Entropy material: the randomness reference or portion used by the draw.
  • Algorithm reference: the published method needed for replay.

Privacy boundary

Evidence packs can contain personal data where the client uploaded personal data. Clients must handle any sharing or publication lawfully and minimise disclosure where possible.

Need evidence for a prize draw?
